One of the best ways I have found for getting my kids to eat well is having them be part of meal planning. Every week we make a list of meal requests on our kitchen board. I do this before a big grocery shopping trip to gauge what the kids are wanting. It helps to have them all talk it over together as that often gets better by in when the meal shows up on the plate. I am often impressed that they can encourage each other to eat more of things by one declaring it is his favorite!
